BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND DO AWAY WITH ANY FORM OF DISTRACTION... CUN VC.
The Vice Chancellor of Claretian University of Nigeria, Very Rev. Fr. Professor Wenceslous Madu has advised students of the University to be serious with their studies, and shun any form of distraction that would impede their future progress. The VC gave the advice during the maiden edition of Vice Chancellor's Mass held at the University's Chapel, on Sunday the 2nd day of February, 2025.
He explained that the Mass which marks the celebration of the consecrated life and blessed Claretian Martyrs, was closely linked to the journey towards the establishment of the University which was also marked by series of difficulties laced with the sheer doggedness.
He advised the faithful to always have a strong and living faith in God like Simeon and Saint Anthony Mary Claret in order to achieve whatever ambition they have in life. He further admonished the students to take the University as their own by being good students who would contribute their own quota towards the growth of the University.
The Vice Chancellor used the opportunity to thank those who have been working tirelessly for the progress and development of the University especially, the Registrar, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. John Ezenwankwor. He announced that the monthly Vice Chancellor's Mass and Interactive Session was meant to have a one on one conversation with the VC, and it involves every student of the University.
In his words of appreciation shortly before the end of the Mass, the Chaplain of the Chaplaincy, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Emmanuel Edeh, thanked the Vice Chancellor, the Registrar and other priests present for coming to celebrate for the students. He advised the students to heed to the admonitions of the VC for their own good.
