Professor Kenneth Anchang Yongabi, the director of the Centre of Excellence for Promoting Indigenous knowledge has developed an indigenous technology for community water purification built on Afrocentric roots.
One of these installations is in Kom, North west of Cameroon and supplying clean water for a hamlet there for the past 11 years with a pilot in Uratta community, Owerri North, Imo State of Nigeria.
