Claretrian University of Nigeria Nkede Commences Academic Session

Recall that two out of the twenty universities recently approved by the federal government of Nigeria are located in Imo state and one of them, The claretian University of Nigeria located at No. 8 old Nekede road Nekede Imo state has commenced academic session with their first lecture which held on Tuesday the 24th of November 2021

The school, which currently runs academic programmes in five faculties and sixteen departments including computer science, software engineering, cyber security, economics, taxation, philosophy, Accounting etc have most of their programmes fully automated such that not only can students apply, pay fees online, register their courses online and even attend lectures online as some of their professors are based in USA and South Africa, they also have access to millions of online learning resources.

Addressing the pioneer students during the inaugural mass which held on Monday the 23th of November at the school chaplaincy, the vice chancellor prof Wenceslaus Madu admonished the students to stay focused and shun any act of cultism as the school has zero room for such. He advised them to take advantage of the facilities offered by the institution such as the campus WIFI, the computer labs etc to enhance their learning and broaden their knowledge using the several online learning resources at their disposal.
